Wooo! That's exciting! Try some pre-made recipe's first to get an idea on how to mix.

I decided to do exactly that. Lol made some "tigers blood" I found here on reddit and I'm having fun. Lol

Tigers blood was one of my first mixes too. So good. I find it needs to steep to get that coconut to blend perfectly.

Yeah. I'm hoping it will improve. It's not terrible freshly mixed however the coconut is mainly all I'm tasting. Lol

I too made Tigers blood as one of my first mixes, and I agree that it needs about 4-6 days to steep. Try it right after you mix it and the coconut is overpowering. Once it's ready.... you can taste the goodness.

I read about a technique on a thread on ecig forum somewhere - take 5ml of water and put 1-2 drops of a flavor in it. Swish it around in your mouth. This gives you and idea of the flavor. I used this technique on all the flavors in my first order. I also used it to test a blood orange/yellow cake flavor by putting 3 drops yellow cake and 1 drop blood orange to see how it might taste. It is a really low-effort way to get familiar with the flavors without all the work of doing any mixing. Anyway, works for me - I hope it is helpful to you.

Sorry for the late reply, but how has the technique of testing using 5ml h2o and a fee drops of flavoring worked out?

You know, the times I tried it, it worked great, but I've sort of let the technique fall by the wayside. I think I should pick it back up. Thanks for the reminder.

I know the feeling. My problem is I mix too many and don't know which to start with.

I order flavors with mixes in mind, I was a cook for a while so I had some combo's I wanted to try out. But yeah it certainly gets to be overwhelming.

If you don't mind me asking, what exactly did you order? Was it a kit or something? Or did you just order all of that individually?

I actually just ordered everything individually by category. If I saw something I might need I'd add it to my cart and go from there. I got everything from RTS Vapes.

I looked at some recipes and bought flavors accordingly and also picked some up that might be good for experiments.

If I don't know what to make I just google my flavour and see what other people are doing with it. Or at dot1ml.com you can search for flavours used in uploaded recipe's. Because of a chance I could get 55 flavours cheap, so now I still trying to find out what I actually bought.

My experience was different but the same - I ordered 10 flavours from FlavourArt in the UK, but think I kind of messed up on my choices.

Didn't know exactly where to start, but I threw together a few fruits I think might work together and now it's steeping.

My next step is to order some more flavours - especially creams/vanilla types and try make some more desert-type vapes

I usually do single flavor mixes to get a feel for what each flavor REALLY tastes like.
