Ahh, the dreaded TFA Cheesecake... I find it unbeareable at concentrations above 2%. Some recipes that I have tried and found more or less pleasant: 2% TFA Cheesecake / 7% TFA Blueberry Extra / 3% TFA Blackberry, 2% TFA Cheesecake / 7% TFA Blueberry Extra / 4% Inawera Raspberry, 2% TFA Cheesecake / 8% TFA Graham Cracker Dark.
I had no issue with it when I used it with gram cracker tasted spot on like my moms home made cheese cakes. With raspberry wasn't my thing though not in this heat wave
Are you talking about "Cheesecake, New York Style" or is it just "Cheesecake"?
TFA Cheesecake
Ok, I've been having some luck with TFA's Cheesecake NY Style at around 5%, but I guess from looking around that the regular "Cheesecake" is one of the notorious "super-flavors" that can be as much or more that 10 times as potent as other flavors. My go-to example of this is TFA Caramel Cappuccino. At 3% or more it tastes like a burning pile of dog parts, but if you can do accurate percentages at 0.3% and under, you may find that TFA CC actually tastes pretty good at about 0.2%. My advise is either break out the borosilicate pipettes, or dilute your cheesecake flavor at a 1:4 ratio, (5ml flavoring to 20ml PG,) and try 1% of that, (which would be 0.2%.)
I used the regular strawberry with the cheesecake in a 70/30 blend at 18mg and its delicious... dont remember the % sorry bud
I used 8% cheesecake in mine and is no good. As mentioned above I think it needs to be used in trace amounts. I diluted the hell outta that mix with VG and mixed up a new one at 0.5% and it doesn't smell wretched which is promising. so imma let em steep and reevaluate.
