I was just checking out wizardlabs, since i'm thinking about getting into DIY, and they have a yellow banner across the top of their site that says:
"NOTICE: 3/22/2014 - Due to the anticipated volume of orders for nicotine solutions, we will be limiting our stock updates this week to allow our lab technicians to handle the increased workload. Since all nicotine solutions are prepared fresh to order, nicotine orders may experience a small delay past our normal 2-3 day processing time."
Is there a reason they're anticipating a large volume of orders?
Similar banners have been displayed on WizardLabs for some time now. Keep in mind that more and more vapers are turning to DIY for all the right reasons. I consider WL the industry leaders in DIY, and as such, the demand for nicotine is extremely high. I found that WizardLabs has the cleanest, purest, and most flavorless nicotine available to consumers.
No. There is slight panic in the community because states are passing laws that are equating vaping to smoking. This means that anywhere where it is illegal to smoke, you also cannot vape. This was not true before, which was one of the major appeals to vaping. For example, where I live it's illegal to smoke on the beach, which means if this law gets passed in my state, it will also be illegal to vape on the beach.
I think the increased nic sales are simply due to increased interest as making it illegal to vape anywhere where cigarettes are also banned isn't necessarily prohibitive. Defacto, making it to smoke in some areas doesn't necessarily affect the number of smokers in the area; it just makes smoking less convenient.
They've run out before. Just click the "notify me" button and you'll get an email when they are back in stock. Even the flavorings are low right now (or were yesterday when i was browsing). Lots of people vaping and DIY. Even websites that sell devices are out of stock a lot these days.
