I'm considered the alpha vaper at my work. Most of the guys come to me with questions and I've helped a lot of them get started. I've been playing with a vanilla custard recipe for months. Today I sold a couple of guys a bottle each. I'm not so much happy about the money. What was wonderful is the look on their faces after they filled up their tanks and tried it. They loved it and complimented me profusely. It feels damn nice to share what I've been working on with friends who really appreciate it.
How much do you want for some of the custard? I've been looking for some, just prices are a little rediculous on some of the vendor sites.
I'm really not looking to turning this into a business. That being said, if you want to try it out I would be happy to send you some cheap. I'm out of 30 ml bottles right now. I could send you out three 10 ml bottles for $11 shipped or 1 10 ml bottle for $5 shipped. Can't do anything till Tuesday as I'm busy with work. You would have to promise me that you would give me an honest opinion after you tried it. Thanks for your interest. I wasn't posting this hoping for customers, but it's nice to have some interest.
Good job. I know the feels. The feels are good. I use my friends as lab rats and throw new flavors at them. Oddly enough, they seem to be just fine with it.
Thanks. The deal I made with them is 30 ml bottles for 10 bucks, but they get a 10 ml bottle of whatever new flavor I'm working on for free. I'm also trying to replicate some of the juices they already like. It felt real nice to hear that it was the best vanilla they had ever tried.
What's your vanilla custard recipe? I've been trying to nail a good one forever but I feel like my progress is going backwards
It's still a work in progress. I'm constantly playing with it. Today's batch was 14% Capella vanilla custard, 3% capella's French vanilla and 3% TFA sweet cream. I usually use TFA Bavarian cream, but I'm out right now.
Any EM in there? I always make it withat least 2% tfa cotton candy
Funny you mention EM. I keep toying with it as the fine folks on this sub recommend it, but I can't really taste the difference. My biggest problem with nailing down this recipe is vaper's tongue. I vape vanilla custard so damn much I constantly fry my taste buds. I honestly have to force myself to vape other flavors to combat it.
Ah. I've actuallymade something similar it was 12% vcustard 5% vbic 3% sweet cream bavarian cream and marshmallow.
Its hard to nail it cause my tastes change so I'm always tweaking it. I think ill try your exact recipe using bavarian cream thank you man!
What do you use the TFA Bavarian Cream in place of? I'm looking for a good custard and I have about five different versions steeping right now. I actually have all those ingredients minus the Capella's French Vanilla, but I do have TFA French Vanilla.
Also have you tried 1-2% of Dulce de Luche from TFA?
i recently mixed up something similar, a recipe i found online called "perpetua's vanilla custard" 18% cap VC, 5% cap french vanilla, 1% EM it's quite tasty.
but, i've been more into the other recipe i've been using (and tweaked a bit) cap VC 17%, TFA dulcedeleche 4%, EM 3% :)
