Cloudiness in and of itself does not indicate whether or not something is vapable or not. Turbidity usually indicates that you have formed some sort of emulsion - you must have some immiscible component in one of the flavors - whether or not it stays in solution can be determined over time (just let it sit, and see if it clears back up).
The only problem I can see is that if you let it sit in your atty over time, you may not have the same flavor - since one component will settle out over time. Just keep shaking it and you'll be alright.
Whether or not to vape it really is up to you - all of the flavorings used are 'food grade', which means they are demonstrably harmless for consumption... but are not necessarily tested for insufflation. All ecig flavorings are essentially un-tested, and you should use your own intuition as to whether or not it is harmful.
I just tried it. Its got a odd taste to it. Idk if its the banana in it thats overpowering or what.
Ripe banana does not play well with others. If my banana strawberry cream recipe were a class photo, ripe banana would be pushing all the other children out of the way and punching the cameraman. It didn't take long for me realize that while I love bananas, I'm just not a fan of banana flavoring.
This juice in (in a LDPE bottle) has quite a bit of banana in it, and it's also cloudy. I turned it sideways so people can see that it doesn't eat through all plastic bottles. Seems to only be higher density bottles. Been in there about a week now. http://i.imgur.com/qrWzVmd.png
10% Ripe banana 10% strawberries and cream. Is this normal?
When I combine I drop normal percentages to achieve 10-15% flavor total (you can always increase flavor %, or you can decrease-you can by diluting with pg/vg). I would start at 5% each and go from there, add 1-2% of a flavor at a time till you find the sweet spot. Another thing, I had had quite a few that I bought that needed to sit for almost a month until they tasted good (steeping). I would put it away for a week then come back and try it again, then another week...and so on.
With ripe banana known to be a tank cracker is its alright in the plastic bottle? I heard it does a number on syringes too.
I have it but have not used it due to the tank problem. From what I have read it should be ok in the bottle, as they are a different type plastic than the tanks. I am buying a glass tank before I mix it in anything. And I was wrong on you can't decrease %. You can dilute it with some pg/vg to achive a lower flavor %. Might try that with a portion of it?
Ripe banana even in tiny amounts makes any ejuice cloudy. 10% seems like a lot to me. I use it at 1-3% because it tends to get pretty intense.
JESUS. 10% ripe banana?! lol it's crazy strong at 2%.
Yeah lesson learned. Don't follow every recipe you see online.
At least you only made a small bottle. After a while you'll get an idea of what you can do with your flavors, what's too strong, what's too weak, how things blend together... Then you can come up with recipes that aren't terrible the first try lol makes it easier to adjust after the fact, while still enjoying a slightly good juice before you change it into a great one.
To much banana and the cloudy ness is from the banana don't use that in plastic tanks also to much banana you only need like 6 to make the flavor you're shooting for and try ripe strawberries
It will settle a bit. Air bubbles will do this with proper shaking and aerating. The ripe banana prolly had something to do with it too.I wouldnt do it in plastic and wouldnt recommend you try. I always err on the side of not making a mess of something that might taste great. 10% seems high, even for a simple 2 part flavor. A warm watter bath would clear it up and make it easier to mix. If it is too strong just add some vg to it to mellow it out.
