Brand spanking new to this, and wanted to make something different to what is usually seen here. I also make mine strong, so you might want to halve the measurements here. Basing off a Zero Nic result, dropped straight in without steeping.

##B.o.B (Best of Both)
Mixed at PG80/20 for a 5ml.

  • FW Fire and Ice 10%

  • TFA Peppermint 5%

  • CAP Caramel 5%

  • TFA Jalapeno 2%

  • TFA Koolada 2%

  • Juice Factory Caramel Sweetener 2%

  • CAP Vanilla Custard 2%

  • Sucralose Sweetener 1%

Takes your breath away - literally - and leaves a pleasant peppermint/caramel aftertaste. Not for the faint of heart. If you want less throat-stab, more taste, substitute the Jalapeño for Cookies and Cream 2%. Kick in the throat strengthens with steeping (1 week)

##Apple Tzatziki Mixed at 50/50 for a 5ml.

  • FW Cucumber Mint 25%

  • FW Green Apple 10%

  • FW Fire and Ice 5%

  • TFA Jalapeno 1%

  • TFA Koolada 2%

Think fresh Tzatziki sauce with an apple tang, gorgeous on a hot day. Going to try some with Lemon instead of apple next time, even though this one converted a mate from analogues. Yes, he is Greek.

##Cloud Puncher Mixed at PG80/20 for a 5ml.

  • Juice Factory Mandarin 20%

  • CAP Double Chocolate 10%

  • TFA Jalapeno 1%

  • TFA Koolada 1%

  • 0.1g Citric Acid Magnificent tart and fruity taste to a rich chocolate, with the cool bite of the Koolada and Jalapeno.

So how did I do for first crack?

Ah, so nice to see a kindred spirit! I've been using tfa Jalapeno in many of my mixes to get a nice throat hit. Was initially surprised that it isn't more 'flavorful', but gets that burn in the back of yer throat like nothing else I've tried yet... Looking forward to more posts from you, in this vein!

Try it with equal amounts of Koolada as well, double whammy!

White Gummy Bear:
(not a clone that I know of. Haven't had the chance to order any Bombies yet. Hopefully tomorrow)

10% Pineapple (TPA)
8% Gummy Candy (TPA - Tank cracker version)
2 drops per 10mL Sour Mix (TPA)
1 drop per 10 mL Lemon (TPA)

Taste's pretty spot on to a white gummy bear to me. Could use a little tweaking. Think I need to go buy some gummy bears tomorrow.

First day of DIY. This has been my favorite recipe I've come up with so far. I am really looking forward to other peoples thoughts if any of you decide to try it out.

Just made this at 20/80, its great! Damn good for your first day of diy man, only thing I would change is a little less gummy maybe. Thanks for the recipe!

Thanks! I've only tried it at 50/50, but I have been taking a liking to higher VG juices lately. I'll have to give it a shot.

I've been working on a good vanilla custard and I came up with this.

Its good, but i need a way to make the vanilla pop, i do enjoy the creaminess of it though:

13% Vanilla Custard (CAP) 4% French Vanilla (CAP) 3% Bavarian Cream (TFA) 3% Toasted Marshmallow (TFA)

anyone have some input?

Vanilla cupcake has a nice kick to it. Maybe drop the custard down to about 8%, Van Cupcake at about 4%, drop the french vanilla completely and leave the rest as is. Let me know how it comes out.

2 points

by joede224over 11 years ago

Hmm I will definitely try this!!! Thanks brother. I felt like the custard was kinda high but I saw a few recipes around this range so I was hoping it would be more vanilla, but I think 13% is overkill or the mix of it with French vanilla is maxing out the vanilla and actually reducing the flavor.

2 points

by raskolnikov206over 11 years agoPâtissier

Vanilla bean ice cream is nice. I'm vaping this right now; 12% cap vcustard, then all tfa 5% vanilla bean icecream, 3%sweet cream & bavarian cream, 2%graham cracker & marshmallow and cotton candy. Max vg so might want to drop the %s lower if you're vaping pg

I've tried capellas french vanilla, vanilla swirl, vanilla bean ice cream, and vanilla cupcake all tfa and the Vbic is the least shitty out of those. The vanilla cupcake is the worst. I'm at the point where I'm thinking of making my own vanilla extract. Before I do that though I'm going to try using ethyl vanillin instead of ethyl maltol. I heard it sweetens and also adds a hint of vanilla

1 points

by joede224over 11 years ago

I have some vbic I never used! Gonna mix a version with that today. Thanks man. I'll adjust the percentages. Or maybe just make it max vg as I've been meaning to try that recently anyway.

Sounded really good but, for some reason mine is harsh on the inhale. Makes me cough. I used TFA everything except for the nic which is from Wizard Labs mixed at 14mg.

Any ideas?

1 points

by TieDyeSkyover 11 years ago

idk mango, koolada, and peach are pretty harsh on the inhale, mine is at 6mg because I only use rdas, maybe try dropping the mango to 2% and do away with the koolada. Mines at 70/30 vg/pg and I also have wizard nic.

1 points

by WzKidover 11 years ago

I was using a igo-w to test it. Made it at 50/50 vg/pg. So some flavors taste harsher than others on the inhale? Didn't think about that.

Ok I thought I saw a recipe in here that used ecigexpress black mile plus? I was coming in here to thank that person... anyway

It was 40% ecigexpress black and mild plus 20% loranns naturals almond oil 20% capellas cinnamon danish 7.1% capellas coconut 7.1% capellas graham cracker 5.8% white vinegar.

Add this base flavor at 15% to 20%. I use 15%

It was so freakin good I made 120ml of just the base flavoring so I can whip this stuff up all the time. I kinda messed up though... the 120ml bottle wasn't a true 120mls so I calculated everything for a 120ml mix but didn't have room for the vinegar. So I'm just going to add a few drops of apple cider vinegar separately everytime I mix (I used 5 drops for 30ml).

Anyway... soooo good. If you like bobas bounty or el kamino from goodlifevapor you'll love this. Its like a cross between the two. Damned good major props to the creator

break down based on 15%

BM+ 6%
Almond 3%
Cinnamon Danish 3%
Coconut 1.1%
Graham Cracker 1.1%
Vinegar .8%

break down based on 20%

BM+ 8%
Almond 4%
Cinnamon Danish 4%
Coconut 1.4%
Graham Cracker 1.4%
Vinegar 1.2%

sounds good and i'm gonna try it @ 15%

2 points

by billgarmsarmyover 11 years agoFrugivore

So I did

BM+ 6%
TFA Hazelnut 3%
TFA Cinnamon Danish 3%
TFA Coconut Extra 1.1%
TFA Graham Cracker 1.1%
ACV .8%

definitely needs some cure time to get the hazelnut out, but it is really good. what can't black mile plus not do? sheesh.

1 points

by raskolnikov206over 11 years agoPâtissier

I know right? I was thinking of subbing almond with other stuff as well. Or just adding 1-3% of anothrr flavor on top like marshmallow or chocolate, vanilla custard or cola, just to see what it can do. Black and mild plus is awesome I just wish it could be bought in bulk ;(

1 points

by zipthalip1243over 11 years ago

Is that loranns almond oil based? I would love to try it but it looks like its an oil based flavor which I would rather avoid. Any possible substitution for it?

I slapped together something to just for fun last night that ended up being pretty good.

5% Green Apple
5% Apple
3% Peach
2% Jamaican Rum

Came out to a flavor similar to pink Starbursts. Just the right level of sweet for me.

1 points

by Drip_Tippityover 11 years ago

Were you going to a starburst-sweet type flavor originally? What about the Jamaican Rum would you say gives your overall mix the starburst-y flavor?

I'd love to try this recipe, just wondering about the Rum!

2 points

by sliover 11 years agoTobacconist

I honestly had no idea whatsoever what the flavor was going to be. I just thought that a little peach and rum would go nice with a double apple flavor, so I tried it. You could probably nix the rum and it'll still be good.

I just made my first juice and it's pretty good. Blueberry Pie

10% Wild Blueberry

5% Graham Cracker (Clear)

5% Bavarian Cream

3% Cotton Candy

At first it smelled like blueberry cheesecake, but after heat steeping it, now it smells and tastes like a proper pie. At first I went 5% blueberry and 5% graham cracker, but the graham cracker was a little too strong so I added 5% more of the blueberry.

My far from perfect - Dr Stanley Clark's Snake Oil Clone.

Inawera Strawberry 10%

Mixed at PG40/60 for 30ml at 2mg.

I have the real thing to compare with and it doesn't come close if you consider all the complex notes and the general experience of the vape, but for taste, yeah, it's helping me give up the pricey stuff, it hits the spot for me.

My first DIY that I feel is good enough to share. I don't have a name for it but that does not change the taste.

12mg 50/50 all TFA UC aged for 1 hour and left sit for a day.

 4% Black Honey Tobacco
 4% RY4 Double
 2% Mild Black

The Black Honey gives a bright sweetness and the RY4 double carries a darker caramel flavor while the Mild Black rounds out the tobacco flavor. I vaped this in my Kayfun clone running microcoil on cotton.

First go around with these, been looking for something yummy to do with Vienna Cream:

Strawberry Cream:

CAP Sweet Strawberry 7%
FA Vienna Cream 7%
TFA Graham Cracker (clear) 2%
CAP Vanilla Custard 2%

super creamy, reminds me somewhat of a strawberry milkshake

DragonCream

TFA Dragonfruit 7%
LA Bavarian Cream 5%
FA Vienna Cream 2%
1 points

by billgarmsarmyover 11 years agoFrugivore

what does LA Bav Cream taste like to you at 5%? it tastes like gym socks to me. i've been meaning to try it at less than 5% to see if it's worth messing with.

1 points

by trixillyover 11 years ago

I prefer the FA Vienna Cream actually but I'm running low and don't want to get only 10ml :( It gives me more of the whole cream kind of taste if that makes sense. I'm one of those people that could drink a glass of half and half and can't do 2% milk because it just tastes like watered down milk.

The LA Bav Cream I don't mix by itself but add to fruits usually - it adds a sort of light creaminess although not as good imo as the FA. I add just a wee bit of coconut extra (like 1% or less) to give it a better body. After sitting for a couple of weeks though I would lower the dragonfruit in this recipe. My first time messing with this one and it ended up overpowering at 7% although it started out great.

1 points

by billgarmsarmyover 11 years agoFrugivore

>The LA Bav Cream I don't mix by itself

well, obviously.

i was talking about using it at less than 5% in mixes. guess i should have clarified. i just tried the mix i'd used it at 5% in (from 2-25-14) and it's okay, but 5% is too high for me. even after two weeks 5% overpowered the rest of the recipe with the gym sock taste. it's just now calming down, but i wanted to see what other people thought of it at 5%.

Lime Coconut (all TFA):

  Coconut extra 5%
  Key Lime 3%
  Ripe Strawberry 3%
  Pomegranate 2%
  Bavarian Cream 2%
  Ethyl Maltol 3%

Steep it for a few days till it turns orangey-brown :)

How do you taste anything other than Coconut Extra?

by theyre_all_dead_Daveover 11 years ago

The lime is such an in-your-face flavor that it will power out a lot of the coconut on the inhale, but you'll get coconut and the pom on the exhale.

5% LA Bavarian Cream

Credit to /u/HidingInMyHideyHole for the Blueberry Pie recipe posted earlier in this thread (which is fantastic), which inspired me to try this one.

Roasted Pecan

2% Cinnamon Oil (LA)

16% Pecan (LA)

2% Sweetener (Sucralose)

I just started making my own juice. Was looking at my limited supply trying to come up with something I did not think of when ordering. Inspiration hit with the thought of those roasted nuts from the fair. Not as much pecan as I had wanted the cinnamon is very strong, but I can't stop vapping this. All the vapors at work loved it.

Is it legit oil? If so, find a substitute

Very new to this all! It is from LorAnn

http://shop.lorannoils.com/templates/product.aspx?ProductGuid=0010-0500&GroupGuid=110

What's the verdict? Why is it bad if so?

it is insoluble in water so its oil based. Lorann's calls all of their flavors oils so it can be confusing. Oil based flavors can cause lipid pneumonia when inhaled and are considered unsafe for vaping. A good resource for LA can be found on another forum here. Basically stay away from anything insoluble in water or that contains sugars.

So it's oil based! Looking on google lots of mixed feelings! I quit smoking because money and we'll they are bad. So with that thought any suggestions on a good cinnamon alternative?

New recipe I've been working on. It's what I've improved upon the Mango Dragon recipe in the TFA thread.

New Mango Dragon

Mango 10%

Sweet Cream 5%

Dragonfruit 5%

Vanilla Swirl 3%

Bavarian Cream 2%

Vanillin(10%PG) 2%

Smooth 1%

Sweet Tarts 1%

0.9%Saline 1%

I've been mixing it as a 12mg nicotine, 80PG/20VG blend. Personally, I prefer a higher VG blend, but this has come out surprising awesome. If anyone wants to try it and can come up with any suggestions, please let me know.

Zombie Blowjob

4% TFA Clove, 6% TFA absinthe, 2% Mint Candy

2 day steep produces a great vape, longer than that the absinthe hides more and the clove becomes prominent.

This sounds ridiculous. I have a mix that I use Clove at 1 drop per 10ml and it still makes it very prominent. You're either a mad man or a genius.

It is quite prominent, but mixed with the absinthe and mint candy it blends perfectly. Have had nothing but good reviews of it from the people I sent it out to.

Menthopple:

15% FW green apple

.5% FW menthol

1% LorAnn's Tart and Sour

2% Nature's Flavor Ginger

my first experiment with menthol, and a damn tasty one at that.

I found a perfectly delicious Strawberry Vanilla Custard I can't stop vaping. "The One" 60ml bottle 5mg Nicotine 10/90 PG/VG 5% Vanilla Custard (Cap) 5% Sweet Strawberry (Cap)

I let it breath for 2hrs after I mix it, then it steeps for 14-21 days.

That's Seduce Juice Snake Oil you are referring to.

Totally different recipe all together, just the name is similar.
