As long as it is USP (as the label says) then it should be nearly indistinguishable from other USP grade PG

There are three of us going in on this. It'll be our first attempt so were getting all the supplies in order. I followed the noob guide on the side bar, I bought some plastic bottles, 3ml syringes, and 2 qts of vg from amazon, my buddy bought a gallon of vg and my other buddy bought about $60 worth of flavoring from wizard. I'm trying to lock down the mix with vg and pg, I kinda want a more vg base. I also got a 121 ml of nicotine at 48mg in pg. I'm hoping to dilute it down to 3mg. So I'm doing my reasearch now, as we won't start this for another two weeks.

The "For animal use only" line concerns me greatly, even if it is marked as USP grade. What percentage of purity does it list on the side?
The issue with using veterinary or animal grade products is that the type of impurities often differs from what is in the human food grade counterpart to it.

That concerns me even more. Nothing is 100% pure. Usually pharmaceutical grades will list something like 99.7% purity.
I don't think it's a smart idea to cut corners like this, especially if you're intending to sell or distribute the juice.
Well, that's why I posted a pic here so you guys with knowledge could help me out. And for the record, this is our first time doing this, and none of our juice is for sale or distribution.
EDITS: in the sticky thread: pro tips for a noobie there is a recomendation that pg can be bought at tractor supply for $20. That's how I found out about this.
One one hand, it's what you are looking for, as it states it passed USP standards. One the other, it comes from tractor supply...
Neogen looks legit, I can't imagine any issues with it.
That's way too much pg. I do 50/50 vg pg, and I run out of the vg long before the pg. Especially because the nic is pg, and the flavors are pg. I've made 300 ml bottles and used 19 ml pg in it. I think it lasts 2 years, once opened.
To each his own but personally I'll not inhale something bought from a Tractor Supply....

JMO I had rather buy my diy supplies from an industry vendor than from a tractor and farm animal store. And even Pro's can be wrong...

Not in this case. USP is a federal standard, not an industry standard.
I personally don't care where someone buys their PG, but the short answer is that USP is USP no matter where it's sold. If someone doesn't want to buy their PG from a farm supply store that's certainly their right, but to suggest that USP PG from a farm supply store is somehow less pure than USP PG from say, Essential Depot is intellectually disingenuous.
So - if it's labeled USP it's at least 99.5% pure PG, contains no more than 0.2% water, no more than 0.1% each diethylene glycol and ethylene glycol, has a specific gravity between 1.035 and 1.037 and so on.
That standard doesn't vary whether the company selling it is a pharmaceutical supply company, a farm supply company or the strip club down the street (assuming the strip club actually sold PG).
So - buy from wherever you like, but if it's labeled USP it is USP unless we're ready to accuse some company of committing a felony by mislabeling pharmaceuticals :)
Tractor Supply also carries excellent lubricant that's used by veterinarians to stick their arms up cows asses. It's also makes a lovely spread for your toast in the morning. Think I'm gonna go grab a few gallons.
LOL SORRY! I'm a smartass by nature, couldn't resist. Amazon is an excellent source for PG, relatively cheap for a quart that should last a while. I'm sure what you bought is fine being USP, I just prefer products that are marketed for homo sapiens :-)This is what I ordered.
