Remember the signature blends of Camels that are not sold anymore in most places? My favorite was Camel Frost. (Not Snus) I haven't been able to find a recipe for this since I started vaping. I have played with trying to recreate the taste of them, and I think I have it now. It's pretty damn close, and I love it. I wanted to share it with you all just in case there are those of you out there who feel like vaping the nostalgia of discontinued cigarette blends.
60/40 PG VG (My Nic content is 1.8%) 10% Spearmint (Flavor West) 2% Desert Ship (Flavour Art) 3% Amaretto (Flavor West) <-- Secret Sauce
The flavor is right up there with how I remember Camel Frost tasting. I think that you could tone down the spearmint and add some regular menthol to get the "ice" feeling on the inhale, but it's important to use spearmint to get that added sweetness.
Edit: Here are the signature blends I am referring to. http://www.cigarettespedia.com/images/1/10/Camel_Signature_Blends_(Frost)KS-20-H-_USA.jpg
I dont remember the signature "paper packs" but I definitely remember the "tins", I was just 18 then, and bought all of the flavors, even the non-menthol ones. lol
I loved the camel mandarin-mint... I wish I could replicate that one... ooooh man that takes me back. There was a chocolate mint flavor as well... that was good too
Oooo. Makes me want to find a way to duplicate the old Camel Turkish Jades. I smoked those things for years. Seems like the Signatures came out during that time.
