I really love their Gambit juice and it would be an all day vape easily if not for the sticker price. I don't necessarily want to 100% clone it, but something close would be so awesome.
Edit: I should also mention that I purchased the following TFA flavors in an attempt to create it myself: ## Apple Pie
Bavarian Cream
Butterscotch
Caramel
Cinnamon Danish
French Vanilla
Green Apple
Pie Crust
Whipped Cream ## I guess if nothing else I'll let you guys know.
Try this:
10% TFA Apple Pie
5% TFA Vanilla Bean Ice Cream
2% TFA Caramel
1.5% TFA Cotton Candy
That is my inspired by Gambit juice.
I'm sure any difference from the original would be easily compensated by a 90 cent per mL price differential.
I age my juice in fish and set them out to sea for 3 years, when it comes back I harvest it and you get the greatest $1 per ml juice known to man.
I can't tell if I am more shocked at the sheer pretentiousness of "high end" juice makers or at the people who actually buy into the narrative. Nevertheless, the more dumbasses that buy their stuff, the cheaper our DIY will be. Quick, set this sub to private and make a new one called "JUICERS TAKE MY MONEY!"
I was going to add Vanilla Bean Ice Cream to your list of flavors to get but this guy has a pretty close replica if I were to give it a shot myself. I know for sure there is apple pie and vanilla bean ice cream. The cotton candy may or may not be in there. It may have whipped cream in it, hard to say. It's a tough juice to crack.
Can I sub the Vanilla Bean Ice Cream with French Vanilla? If at all possible, I think I'd like to avoid the Acetyl Propionyl.
Add vanilla into everything. Some vendors use tfa others use Fa,La and a mix. Some vendors use some niche no one else uses or its a local blend to give them that distinct flavor. I make my own and for strawberry I use an Amish brand called Old Hickory, I have no idea the chances of anyone else using it.
Mine is 5% mbv caramel apple 3% tfa sweet cream 3% tfa pie crust 3% tfa vanilla I don't exactly remember how it stacks up against gambit, I think maybe a bit too appley. I like it though.
I'm fairly sure it has pie crust flavoring, I'm surprised no one mentioned it before. The pie crust flavor was really strong to me. I didn't taste much apple though, so I'm not sure about the apple pie or caramel apple flavoring, caramel maybe.
I'm thinking vanilla bean ice cream (for the vanilla and cream flavor), pie crust (gives it the cinnimon/nutmeg flavor that is so prominent in Gambit), caramel (pulls the pie crust and vanilla/cream flavors together; makes them cohesive), and cotton candy for sweetness. This is probably as close as I could get without spending a ton on different flavors to mix and hours of testing.
I know it's not DIY but another really good apple pie flavor is Dabble Dooyah by Mr. Good Vape. It's sooooo good!
Good luck, I really do not know how far you will get with TFA. I love the gambit as well. have steeped real cinnamon stick. They have a pretty distinct flavor in all their liquids I'll be interested if you get anywhere close.
We have tried to copy Bowdens Mate as well. We used 3 or 4 different peppermints and none of them were right. I think they have all their own custom flavors from who knows where.
Yeah, it'll be a real trick coming close for sure. I read on their website that they source all of their flavorings themselves from base ingredients. But I'm still optimistic that I can get the same ballpark flavor from it without it completely sucking... We shall see.
Yea we came pretty close or at least we were happy with the Mate that we made. I believe their peppermint is more natural than what we used, but I like a candy style peppermint anyway!
