Another 5 Lorann mixes... reviews inside

Another 5 lorann mixes coming at ya... very successful mixing batch this time!

I'm getting close to the end of my Lorann mixing experiments (have about another 17 mixes before I hang up my hat). After last week (with 5 busts) I"m super stoked to have had a good mixing week. As you know, my goal is to get at least 20 mixes that I can vape as the years go on (anything above 7.5 I'll vape in the future, anything under 7.5 I'll probably never make again).

So without further ado....

All mixes 9mg, 60/40, 5ml. steeped one day.

Juice One

8% coconut 3% raspberry 1% bavarian cream

Result: 9.5 out of 10

Comment: The highest rated mix I've ever done was butter rum / english toffee which got a 9 out of 10. This beat it and is my most successful mix so far. There is no other way to describe this other than FUCKING YUMMY! If I had to equate it to a food it tastes like a raspberry swirl ice cream treat. The bavarian cream really gives it a sweet creamy taste (and I only used 2 drops of BC). The coconut doesn't really come through that much (even though its the higher %), but it blends with the raspberry to create a sweet yummy raspberry taste. I think the coconut is giving the mix it's ice creamy flavor and the BC is giving it the "swirl cream' element. Just an amazing mix... tastes amazing on the inhale and even better on the exhale. If you like dessert tasting vapes this is a must mix.

Juice 2

10% bubble gum 5% peach

Result: 8.5 out of 10

Comment: Not sure how to describe this... remember bubblelicious gum? (not sure if they sell it still). Anyway, they use to make different flavors of it. If they had made a peach flavor, it would have tasted like this. In future mixes though I'd bump bubblegum to 12% or lower peach to 4%. Just a tiny little bit more bubblegum flavor and this would be perfect.

Juice Three

8% mint chocolate chip 3% orange cream

Result: 7.5 out of 10

Comment: Orange cream is turning out to be a tricky flavor! I thought surely at 3% it would accent the MCC... but its the orange cream that stands out. The MCC kind of gets lost in this one. In future mixes I'd bump MCC to 12% and decrease the orange to 2%. I might even toss the MCC and replace it with creme de menth and just go for a minty orange mix. Orange cream has lots of potential, but damn its a tricky flavor. This is a pleasant vape, it's just not what I was expecting.

Juice 4

10% cheesecake 5% melon

Result: 8 out of 10

Comment: Ok, it's official. Lorann cheesecake is officially the easiest flavor ever to work with. You can pair it with just about anything and it tastes good. I give this mix an 8 out of 10 simply because not everyone likes melon. But if you do it works well with the cheesecake... it's a fruity sweet vape. In future mixes I think I'd bump the melon to 7% and add maybe 1% bavarian cream (I think with just a touch of bavarian cream this mix could be unbelievably amazing).

Juice 5

7% peach 3% pralines and cream 1% bavarian cream

Result: 8 out of 10

Comment: This is a very strange mix. It has kind of a musky, smokey taste to it. I almost feel like I'm actually smoking a cigarette. Makes no sense to me as none of those flavors should create a 'smokey' vape, but they do. In future mixes I think I'd bump up the pralines and cream to 5%, maybe bump bavarian cream to 2%... but to be honest, I have no clue what to really do with this mix. It's good though... it's just not something that's easy to describe!

Just wanted to say I appreciate you posting these. I don't have many Lorann flavors but if I go that direction I'll be checking back through your notes. Thanks

I figure at lots of flavor combos probably work somewhat similarly with other vendors. So it's all knowledge :)

These posts are awesome, I appreciate it! I have lots of Lorann flavors because I live so close to the factory. Going to try a few of these out. I have everything for juice one but I have the natural raspberry, should I double the percentage?

no idea... not sure what the natural raspberry is. I used the concentrated one, which is probably very different.

I have Strawberry, Blueberry and Raspberry in the Natural versions. They're not as strong and don't have food coloring or anything in them. I'm going to try it out and see how it goes. Hopefully the actual flavor is the same or close. Have you tried the cola from Loranns? If so, were you able to get anything vapeable out of it? I'm scared to use it because I've heard bad things about it but I really want a cola flavor.

nope, im not a cola guy so i never bought that. But the reviews on it are really bad... so don't expect it to be good :)

I think the whole thing with food coloring is a bit overblown. I mean, yes, no food coloring is best, but it's kind of funny on some level that we use to smoke something with 5,000 chemicals and 40+ carcinogens but food coloring scares people now =)

let me know how it goes. I'm always worried that I find something amazing, then someone tries it and doesn't like it.

So few people use lorann that I never get feedback :)

I'm definitely going to order some if this first batch of flavors goes ok. The raspberry recipe sounds so good, and I will also order cheesecake next time too. Your review was helpful.
