had to share custard...
submitted almost 12 years ago by cricketOpus

After a few weeks of trying I finally made a custard that calls for a 200ml batch, so just thought I would share.

Merry Christmas!

20/80 pg/vg blend

5% Vanilla Custard (Flavor West) 5% Graham cracker clear (TFA) 3% sweet cream (TFA)

Sounds interesting. I'm going to mix a sample of this tonight. Will post feedback later.

Let me know what you think, I found that the graham and cream even out the sometimes over-powering custard. Feedback is most greatly appreciated!

I didn't know graham cracker from Tfa came in clear also. Mine is very dark. Also did you add any EM to this mix?

No EM and while the graham is labeled and sold as "clear" it is still golden in color. I got it from wizard labs I believe.

Have you tried capellas vanilla custard? I've currently got that mixed 70/30vg and 24mg nic @ 15% I think.. By itself it's pretty good..

No, but thanks for the suggestion I need to order some flavorings and I'll have to try some.

Finally got around to making this. Interesting mix. I'm not sure if fw custard is stronger but at 5% for Capella custard it seemed a bit weak. The graham cracker and sweet cream gave the juice a nice creamy touch.

Made a new batch. increased my custard level to 12%, brought down the graham cracker to 2%, sweet cream to 3%, toasted marshmallow to 6%, and added a drop of EM every ml. I'm letting it cure right now so we'll see how it turns out in a few days.

I've got to try Capella's custard, FW is really strong IMO. I actually ended up backing the cream to 2% bc after a few days of curing it was a little too sweet for my taste.

I think my problem is I need more sweetness. I put in a lot of EM but its not doing it for me. Just gunking up my coils.
