I've been struggling moving from 12 to 6, but was finally getting used to 6 the past weeks. I honestly had no desire or need to jump to 0 anytime soon, but six days without nic means I've already gone through the withdrawal headaches. Is this the perfect time to go 0 nic?
I went to zero for a couple of weeks (sort of to prove to myself I could) and decided to go back to 6 b/c I like the little perk and clarity it can give. Sort of like going back to regular after drinking decaf.
But yes, after 6 days there is very little nic left in your bloodstream and you are past the tough part of the addiction. If 0mg is your goal, you will never find an easier time than now.
yes and no. It's an 'opportunity'. But quitting while you are sick is not the same as quitting.
It's easier not to smoke or vape when you are sick because your body is in a different state.
Once you feel better the cravings will return.
But it's definitely worth a try.
Go for it! I found that the jump to straight up 0 left a little to be desired so I made a bunch of 0 and I'd vape on that in one device and have another with some that i'd mixed some of my 0 in with a 6. I find that even if I mix mostly 0 with just a touch of 6.... its enough to get over the mental hump. if you wanna give up your habit/addiction to nic altogether -- ANY time is the perfect time!
Seems like a great opportunity to me. Might even try a little menthol or koolada for some throat hit if you miss that too much, before going back to the nic. Also, a little warmer vape (setup) will add some TH.
When my wife feels like vaping, she vapes 0 nic. She smoked a long time ago. Those two things above help.
Feel better soon and good luck!
No.
If you have to ask, it's not. If you need a push in the right direction, it's not. You simply making this post eludes to both. You have to want to do it. If you're not ready, you're not ready. Don't force it until you are.
Lots of people in this subreddit have experience in 0 nic. Asking for some advise won't hurt one bit whatsoever. Your answer is weird.
OP asked for advice, I gave some too. I don't understand how it's any different than other people saying "sure, go for it" - other than the fact that it's contrary. I shared an opinion like everyone else and at least I put some thought into it.
If this person doesn't have the resolve to make such a personal decision on their own, what makes you think they can quit on their own? They have to be the one doing it, not everyone else here making the comments. Weirdo.
none of that changes that your advice is weird. your logic is flawed though. unless you consistently tell people who ask any questions to not do something, since you know, they should just know or some shit. Yay. you put thought into something - because everyone else didn't? What a weird insinuation. i hope you stay out of the threads where people ask for advice about quitting. (ill leave my previous typo since i can see it gives you some sort of ego boost.)
