A Simple Tobacco Blend With Promise
submitted almost 12 years ago by Bluesed

So I made up a small batch mix (5ml) a few days ago that has great promise. I've been waiting on some enhancers to be delivered before trying any tobacco mixes. Anyway I threw together a simple mix that taste very, very close to one of Indigo's straight unsweetened tobacco's.

This was very good with a couple of 10min hot baths - Shake & Vape. The Cowboy greatly reduced the caramel in the RY. I just got the regular RY4...I had the RY4 Double and it has just too much caramel in it for my taste....anyway this mix has blended well in just two days. I have another bottle set back to steep a few weeks, I'll have to see how the percentages hold up at that point.

The few flavors are from TFA... Regular RY4 - Cowboy - Smooth 50/50 Pg/Vg 18mg - 15ml

  • Ry4 - 8%

  • Cowboy - 1%

  • Smooth - 3drops

  • Koolada - 2drops - First time using Koolada, it's suppose to add a coolness, maybe it does but nothing that really sticks out.

Koolada (my experience)

1.5% slight chill with a bit of throat hit

3% chilly, good compliment to menthol

5% ice

I know this sounds dumb but I'm new into mixing my own juices, but what is these acronyms? TFA, TPA, PFA and so own? I've been seeing them on a just about every DIY ejuice thread here on reddit and on other forums.

How is this juice doing after a week of aging? I'm mixing a batch up tomorrow and would like to know what to expect.

It taste pretty good, seems the Cowboy has weakened somewhat. I don't taste much caramel or vanilla in the regular RY4. My wife has been using this the most, haven't heard her complain. I made up a vanilla and bavarian cream juice W/ a couple drops of cotton candy and I've been mixing this bout 50/50 with the tobacco and it's been tasty.

I don't have much patience when it comes to letting things steep. I do have a few bottles that have been steeping a few weeks. I need to invest in a nice ultra sonic cleaner. I've been following a long thread on ECF where people are swearing they can get the equivalent of a two-three week steep in 3-4 hours doing 30 min cycles.

I've also been reading some good reports from long-time diy'ers about the Hangsen tobacco lines. I've ordered Hangsen RY1 - RY3, T5 and Desert Ship. Can't wait to try them out.

Thanks for the info. I think I may go a little heavier with the cowboy.

I dropped the ry4 down to 7% and upped the cowboy to 3%. Kept the smooth and dropped the koolada. Gave it some heat and damn it's tasty! I can't wait to see how it ages. I dripped two drops of it and three drops of blueberry menthol (also made today) and it's really good. Thanks again for the recipe. This is my first ever tobacco mix, btw.

Cool...the cowboy has a certain twang to it...in a good way...I'll try your percentages
