After much trial and error and the comments in this post, here is what I've come up with my Key Lime Pie recipe.
Key Lime Pie
- Key Lime (TFA) 10%
- Graham Cracker Clear (TFA) 4%
- Ethyl Maltol (TFA) 1%
- Lime Juice 1 drop per 5ml
I tried quite a few variations of such using marshmellow, tfa smooth, vanilla swirl but they all made the juice taste very sweet and overpower the lime. Also, It doesn't seem to be as good without the lime juice. I feel like this will be an ADV for me this summer. Let me know if you guys have any suggestions.
Thank you! I just gave this a go and I'm liking it right out of the mix. My last experiment with Key Lime Pie was pretty underwhelming but IIRC that was with GC Dark. I think this will contrast nicely in rotation with some tobacco blends.
I'm glad you like it, I know about 3-4 people that I work with that ADV key lime and I thought I would see if I could make something that was up to par with what they were vaping. Nailed it.
It's had a couple hours in the UC now and coming together nicely in the latest sample. I get more GC on the inhale and more lime on the exhale, which makes it interesting. I could see bumping this up a little for different situations (like a short rotation) but for something like an extended or ADV it seems real nice.
I usually add a little cheesecake to my Key Lime Pie recipes. 3-4% though you do need to let it steep a little to get the full flavor out of it.
Gonna chuck this in the monthly recipe thread- in the future try to post recipes there, I add the threads to the sidebar so they don't get lost into the abyss...
