I'm always looking for alternate sources of supplies.
I found some 60ml (actually holds more, 60ml is at the topmost curve) containers for mixing larger batches, and yes you read that right Breast Milk Storage Containers.
The plus side is that they are wide mouth for easy mixing, made of polypropylene so they should be good for any eliquid combination, I can fit 4 bottles in my ultrasonic cleaner, they are already sterilized and ready to use.
Downside, full retail they are on the expensive side, I happened across these in my grocery clearance section.
If you don't mind me asking, what stirrer is that? Looks fairly decent.
Magnetic stirrer for laboratory use. Nice, but pricey.
A cheaper alternative is an airbrush paint mixer for $12.54. Unlike the $2 coffee milk frothers they're based on, these things actually work very well for sizes up to say 100ml. And you can mix right in the glass bottles most of us use.
It's an old Mag-Mix. Probably from the 1950s. I picked it up a few years ago at an estate sale along with some other lab equipment.
It still works reasonably well but looked horrible so I, took it apart, cleaned it up and repainted it with Plasti-Dip. The ultrasonic cleaner was also purchased at an estate sale.
Keep an eye out on online government and university auctions in your area for lab equipment as well, if you are looking for gear on the cheap.
