Any interest in a recipe finder?

I was bored today and came up with:

You input the flavors you have at hand and get recipes that match. Is there any interest in this sort of thing?

I've added the TFA recipes from the wiki to test things out.

Note: This is an untested afternoon project. There will be bugs. I'm just curious if it is an idea worth pursuing.

Edit: Cool beans, I'll keep working on it! Thanks for all of the input. I'll keep you updated.

Very nice. I would love to see more flavors included, but I have some idea as to how much work it is to find those and add them. Maybe a way for users to add data?

A suggestion too. There are other flavors that people use besides tfa. Capella and ecigexpress for example. Adding those in would help make the site more popular/useful.

User added recipes most definitely. Maybe at a rating system of some sort with the ability to leave/read reviews.

This could really take off if it's implemented well enough.

This really is an awesome idea. And I agree, user submitted recipes and ratings are going to be needed. Especially when mixing flavors from more than one company.

The subreddit keeps removing my post so I'll try to keep the updates in the comments (hopefully that works) so I don't need to keep on bugging the mods :)

Thanks for all of the feedback! I want to remind you all that this was really just a proof of concept so the recipe selection is very limited. I'm working on a user account system so you'll be able to submit recipes, save your flavor list, and comment/rate recipes. The only way this will work is if there is an active user base contributing. I can't add all of the recipes myself. So, I'll continue working on this in my free time and keep everyone updated!

Update 10/1/2013: Added Capella, FlavorArt, FlavorWest, FlavorExress, and Lorann flavors.

Update 10/3/2013: (Not yet published) Finished layout, added login/registration functionality, added search/browse

Update 10/4/2013: (Not yet published) Added recipe submission functionality. Nearly ready for launch!

Update 10/5/2013: (Not yet published) Polished up category browsing and recipe submission. Need to migrate the original "recipe finder" and tweak/test the recipe search. Here's a few progress pics. Sorry about the black censor marks...I have the terrible habit of using obscenities when I'm tesing haha.

I've wanted someone to do this for so long! How about some FW flavors? Im sure they'll be similar translation for TFA but more fool-proof and flavorful.

This would be incredible, I've been looking for exactly this for a while! Don't Forget Seedman and Wizard Labs flavors!
