I'm fairly new at DIY, I did some a few years ago but now I'm going to get serious. I have a wide variety of flavors. I picked up quite a bit of lab glass and materials. Already I have had some great success and miserable failures, especially dealing with the changes after steeping.
At some point I could use some criticism or ideas for improvement of flavors though. I'm already working on a "Fuzzy Navel" and missing something. It would be great to have other DIYers try the liquid and add suggestions or even readjust the liquid itself.
Is there a DIY swap or anything like that setup?
I've been thinking about the same things and a DIY juice swap could be fun.
As for ground rules. Maybe people should have to post a photo of where they mix, where their nic/pg/VG were sourced and the flavors used but not necessarily the percentages if they want to protect the recipe for some reason.
Be awesome if we had little flavor profiles of what we like or make that we think is good.
Me personally I'm interested in vanillas, caramels, some fruits especially apple and even better if they have a little sour kick to them.
I'm out of the country at the moment but return home soon and would love to explore this idea further if there is enough interest!
a photo is only a single millisecond in history, not sure why people are more secure with photos of a lab than a visit.... as a DIY'er i can only trust the people i buy my things from and as fubar as this may sound, some regulation is really needed....... before this is totally downvoted think of the regulations a frozen food manufacturer has to face, compare that to the wall behind your local mcdonalds fry-a-lator then think of the mom-n-pop-stop.... ALL totally different in every aspect
I'd be interested in this. I'm about to start DIY, and have no one (other than me) to try my recipes. And, an FYI on the "where do you mix" question: half of my garage was converted in to a commercial kitchen for my BBQ catering business.
Why doesn't someone start a new sub? Maybe /r/DIY_eJuiceExchange
Edit: i just created the subreddit! I've never created a sub before. If anyone is interested in helping, let me know.
