submitted almost 12 years ago by Briixx

Would love for this to be my first diy test.

Would be extremely grateful!

There is DEFINITELY coconut in Snake Oil.

I can smell it very strongly and one of the reasons I found out was by accidentally killing my sense of smell/taste for Pear by oversmelling/vaping TFA Pear.

Once that happened, smelling Snake Oil smelled like straight up coconut.

I think it could be fairly easily replicated,

I think TFA Pear is the same Pear Seduce Juice uses, if not it tastes pretty much exactly the same to me, all it needs is a bit of coconut.

The cream I'm not sure about or which one to use, I don't think it's Bavarian though.

Also from my experience I would never mix the TFA Pear at 20 or even 15%, it's super strong to me at 6% and even at 3% it was still quite flavorful.

TFA Honeydew is also just as strong and I recommend starting at 3%. (that's just general advice, it's not in Snake Oil that I know of)

If you want something very tasty and similar to Snake Oil, I'd try making a mix of like:

5% TFA Pear

4% TFA Strawberry

2% TFA Honeydew

Tweak from there to your liking.

I don't have Coconut yet, but I have some TFA Coconut Extra ordered so I'll get back to you, might be able to get a fairly close clone of Snake Oil made :)

EDIT:

I just checked the Seduce Juice page for Snake Oil and as you can see, they've updated the description and there is definitely Coconut.

They really need to organize their site better, I love their flavors but it's really annoying to find things when half of them are in a different section

Here's the link

It's in their Sweet and Sour section for some reason.

It's very powerful, I recommend starting at 0.5% and working your way up, I mixed it at 1% and it's almost overpowering.

The other day I made a test of 5% TPA Pear and 1% TPA Coconut Extra and it's almost exactly like Snake Oil to my tastes.

I think it is missing a bit of cream, but I really don't even miss it.

I'd recommend trying:

5-6% TPA Pear

0.5% TPA Coconut Extra

At that point if you like/want more pear, then add it.

It's very delicious and to me just as satisfying as Snake Oil, I immediately made a larger bottle after tasting it lol.
