I know that there are the multiple recipe threads for people to post what they've made. How about a thread to post what you have and others suggest combinations/recipes off of that? I'll go first:
Tfa:
Banana NutBread
Hazelnut
Bavarian Cream
Caramel Cappucino
Caramel (Original)
Brown Sugar
Strawberry (Ripe)
Cinnamon (Spice)
Kiwi Double
Black Currant
Bittersweet Chocolate
Lorann's:
Blackberry
Cranberry
I also have sour, ethyl maltol (10% pg), and menthol (10% pg solution)
Kiwi double, blackberry and sour. Not sure how the lorann's tastes, though. I use all TFA besides a few lorann's and seedman's. Probably just try 7.5% of the Kiwi and blackberry, then add 5 drops per 10 ml sour. I paired the kiwi and blackberry specifically because the two had a complimentary smell when brought up to your nose. The BB itself didn't smell good enough to vape on its own. Definitely weird by itself.
I'll have to try that one. A black currant (10%) and kiwi (8%) with 3%em and 2% sour wasn't too good. The currant is pretty strong at that %, but the black berry should be a good one to try.
I believe it. TFA black currant is definitely a dominant flavor. Found that out when mixing some phony black pompom. Hope you update us. I might make a post, too. It's hard to pick and choose so many flavors.
Well, that was why I wanted a thread where people could post what they have on hand and report back how it was. I'm out of clean bottles right now, made 6 flavors earlier. Have them steeping on a candle warmer right now. My banana bread recipe is smelling damned good. :)
TFA:
Lemon
Juicy Peach
Pineapple
Watermelon
Strawberry
Cantaloupe
Raspberry (Sweet)
Blueberry Wild
Koolada
Coconut Extra
Blackberry
Honeydew
Mango
Flavourart:
Watermelon
Grapefruit
Apple
Citrus Mix
FruitExpress:
Melon
I've already tried the Honey Pearry clone, it's currently my ADV. So good. Have already mixed up Tiger's Blood clone, Blacklemon (15% blackberry and 5% lemon, really disgusting flavor), and Aqua Berry Blast (pretty good).
I haven't been mixing that much since I'm waiting for my first RDA to come in.
Not familiar with Tiger's Blood, so hopefully I don't suggest something similar. Lemme see what I can do...
8% pineapple
6% blueberry
5% coconut
1% lemon
2% koolada
A number of those are a shot in the dark, I'm not too familiar with how strong they are, so adjust. The lemon can be used similarly to a sour concentrate, which can help bring out fruit flavors a bit. Feel free to tell me to trash this idea, though.
TFA Coconut Extra is incredibly strong. I have a juice with it mixed in at 2% and it's WAY too much coconut for me.
I'll definitely try a variation of that blend though, those are some interesting flavor combos. Thanks for the tips!
What's the Aqua Berry Blast recipe, if you don't mind sharing. Sounds awesome.
9% Watermelon (TPA)
7% Blueberry (TPA)
4% Strawberry (TPA)
2% Menthol or Koolada
1 Drop per 3ML (Tart & Sour) (I do this without the sour)
Found the recipe in the TFA Recipe thread.
This is a great idea. I need ideas. I got the TFA to make a key lime pie, and that was the only juice I have made that I really liked. It also was enough to mask the butter popcorn flavor I get from the TFA cheesecake. I haven't liked it in any other way I have tried it. The Capellas I got in today, either because I was thinking they would be good alone, or I could use with the others I already have. Here is what I have.
TFA:
Cheesecake w/Grahm Crust
Cheesecake (not a big fan, tastes like butter)
Vanilla Bean Ice Cream
Blueberry
Key Lime
Belgian Waffle (don't care much for the syrup flavor, didn't realise it had the syrup)
Sweet Cream
Caramel
Bavarian Cream
Capellas:
Vanilla Custard
New York Cheesecake
Sweet Strawberry
Juicy Lemon
Pumpkin Pie
I also have some Stevia to use as a sweetener. Also some LorAnns Tart and Sour.
Hmm, definitely looks like you like the creamier flavors. I really haven't toyed around with those much yet, so I apologize if I come up with something atrocious.
6% Strawberry
6% Blueberry
3% Caramel
1% Lemon (use instead of the tart and sour)
4% Vanilla bean ice cream
4% Cheesecake w/ graham or NYC Cheesecake
I really don't know any percentages for the creamier flavors yet, unfortunately, so these are really just guesses. Same with the cheesecake park. A pure graham cracker would probably work better for it.
Looks good. I do like desserty flavors but plan on getting some fruity ones next time I order. I did get the lemon because I heard it was good to boost flavors, seems like I may be on the right track with that.
The recipe you suggested is similar to a blueberry cheesecake I tried. I think I haven't been using enough flavor in my mixes, usually 10-15%.
looks like I should be trying more.
Thanks for the advice.
I like this idea. I'm looking at getting into diy juice and this will help planning out flavors and mix percentages.
How about:
- Caramel Cappucino 8%
- Hazelnut 5%
- Cinnamon 2%
- Bittersweet Chocolate 1-2%
That is one I was kicking around, althought that specifically is unvapeable. The capuccino flavor is too strong as 2 drops/ 5ml, actually. I have this recipe that is steeping right now:
8% bittersweet chocolate
5% Bavarian Cream
5% Hazelnut
3% Ethyl maltol (sweetener)
2drops caramel cappucino
So not too far off, I'll try the cinnamon in the next version of it.
1/2 Kiwi, 1/2strawberry, and a few drops of caramel with a few drops of sour is awesome! You'll have to play with percentages.
I take it you've tried that one? I did a strawberry/kiwi before I got the caramel, so I'll have to try again.
Yes. The caramel is strangely good but you have to get the ratios right. I just add a few drops to a kiwi-strawberry mix so just be careful not to overdo it with the caramel and sour. I bet you could do a salted caramel instead of the caramel and sour.
