Finally... we are getting a Wiki!!
submitted about 12 years ago by InertiaCreepingJust another Moderator

Phew. This time of the year is assignments assignments assignments, but of course I need to procrastinate somehow!!

So, without further ado, lets get cracking on this Wiki!

I've started collating and formatting the TFA recipe list and putting it into Wiki format (http://www.reddit.com/r/DIY_eJuice/wiki/tfa_recipes) and I would like suggestions for other articles, lists, tips, hints, and anything else that could belong in the DIY_eJuice wiki!

As of now only moderators can create and edit Wiki pages, but I can change that so that people with, say, 10 diy_ejuice karma can submit and edit.

I'm thinking;

  • Safety Tips

  • Starting Materials

  • Recipes/Percentage lists

  • Juice Clone recipes

I'm also going to bug /u/minedogger about his idea to get some flair going!

Clone recipes in oce place would be amazing. It is such a pain searching and trying to find them.

Oh, snap! Well, how far do you want to take the flair? If you don't already have specifics in mind I can draw up the basic tube, beaker and flask with an assortment of colors and empty/full variation, so we could have about a dozen or more options from just the 3 basic images. Just let me know the consensus and I'll try to get that happening in the next day or two.

I just started diy, so I may not be able to contribute all that much. But I know I'll definitely be reading it!

Good idea. I'd love to contribute, since I've gotten into DIY juice bigtime.

Please do! Starter guides, start-up kits, anything! Write about it and post it here and I'll make a Wiki page for ya!

It would be nice to perhaps have some links to good, reputable DIY vendors out there, even those that aren't necessarily selling glycerine and flavorings for ecigs directly. I know of quite a few, but the community surely has their various sources. I think it would be invaluable information for people new to DIY.

You are awesome. Did I mention that yet? Things around these parts are just getting better and better (not that it was ever bad), please keep up the good work!

Names/types of stores where we can get stuff we need down the street as opposed to online.

Example: I am having a hard time locating LorAnn flavorings at any sensible shops around me, would really like to know where I should look. Side note: my last batch was purchased at a flea market...

How about a DIY acronym page? It takes me some time to figure out a new acronym here when I see them, like EM.
