It's simple but I just keep going back to it because it's so good. Even better at subohms.
Edit: I should add that it NEEDS at least 1 week of steeping or a hot water bath. Even better 4 weeks in.

Vanilla/Menthol mishmash.
It's quick, it's easy, and it's tasty right away, but letting it sit for about a week really takes it up a notch.

In PA Sucralose Sweetener: 2%+, 4.5/5, for example

What are those numbers at the end and why not every flavoring has them?

1 points

by turkourjurbsalmost 12 years agoFrugivore

This was ripped off (shamelessly by me) from the Electronic Cigarette Forum. It's been compiled by a lot of different users and not all left the same info. 4.5/5 means that person thought, at that percentage, that the flavor was excellent. Some flavors just aren't good on their own and are better for mixing. Or a low rating might mean that person didn't find it a very strong or good flavor. Also your mileage may vary. I did Blueberry Extra at 15%, rated at 6/5 (I guess they mean fantastic). After 3 weeks it tastes like air. Go figure.

Oh, great. I assumed it was some kind of score but wanted to make sure in case I was wrong or missing something important. Thank you.

Gingerbread 7-12%

I'm wondering if, for long-term use, we could we get a master list of flavours on the subreddit wiki?

1 points

by peraziniover 11 years ago

Can you explain me what this percentages means?

1 points

by turkourjurbsover 11 years agoFrugivore

It's the amount of flavoring you add to your juice mixture. So if you're making 10ml of juice and are going to use 20% flavoring you'd use 2ml of flavor and 8ml of PG/VG/Nic. Any juice calculator will help with the right amounts.

But is just single flavors, right?

Thats a really helpful list. I just used it to whip up a little sampler of Raspberry and Marshmallow. Hopefully this one will taste better, i had used too much raspberry last time, before seeing the suggested percentages.

Please comment with any recipes you have that use only TPA ingredients!

ECF TPA Recipes Only Thread

Plenty more recipes at this PDF!

PS. My citations are horrible, I know, I only take credit for the top three recipes in the OP.

Yay I'm an assorted internet person! Thanks for compiling this. I will definitely be referring to it when I want to branch out. Here's a couple that you can add to the list,

6% pear

3% strawberry

3% honey dew.

My gf also really likes:

6% hazelnut

6% french vanilla

3% vanilla cupcake.

Just remember that one kind of ~~her~~ TFA's french vanilla is safe to vape, the other isn't.

Edit: tried to make the formatting easier for you.

Can I just say that the pear straw honeydew recipe is fucking incredible. Vaping it now

... so confused haha

TFA has two kinds, I think the deluxe is not safe to vape, the other is.

Edit: yeah that was totally unclear, I don't english good.

Is that top one a Honey Pearry clone?

by kostafiialmost 12 years ago

I doubt it. I just read the flavors TVC used and thought they sounded good together so I mixed them in proportions that I like.

Key Lime Pie

Honey Fuck

for 3ml of flavoring (10% total flavoring)

0.9ml of Honeysuckle

0.9ml of Honey

0.9ml of Flue Cured

0.3ml of Green Tea

Steep thoroughly, brutal as hell without steeping.

I know this is an 'old' thread, but some flavors have been renamed, just thought I'd point out. According to the site:

M. Dew is now Citrus Punch

Hawaiian Pun. is now Hawaiian Drink

Grape Jolly Ran. is now Grape Candy

Bubblegum Juicyfruit Style is now Bubblegum Juicy Style

Nutella >* Bavarian creme 4%

  • Bittersweet chocolate %3
  • White chocolate %3
  • Hazelnut 2%
  • Peanut butter 2%
1 points

by swancitysoundsabout 11 years ago

Do you have any suggestions for this with only peanut butter, double chocolate clear, hazelnut, marshmallow, whipped cream?

1 points

by drd525about 11 years ago

Try a direct substitution, double chocolate for bittersweet, and marshmallow for white chocolate, omit Bavarian creme. Let me know how it goes, I think the mix as I had it had too much bittersweet.

2 points

by swancitysoundsabout 11 years ago

Here is what I ended up going with: 8% double choc clear 4% hazelnut 2% marshmallow 1% peanut butter 1% whipped cream 1% vanilla cupcake

It is creamy and delicious but could be better. Might be slightly too much hazelnut and the chocolate lacks depth that the double clear dark might offer.

Dat strawberrah:

10% strawberry ripe

3% sour 20%

1% sweetener

1-2 drops AP per 10ml(on my phone but I think it's spelled acetyl pyruvate... The nutty toasty molecule)

(Optional) ~2-3% koolada or menthol. Menthol gives a nice minty cold, koolada keeps it just cold strawberry. Both are awesome.

Acetyl Pyraxine, I love that stuff.

by InertiaCreepingalmost 12 years agoJust another Moderator

Cheers! What does the 20% signify?

2 points

by OrionsArmpitalmost 12 years ago

That the flavor is 20% malic acid in pg. Sometimes youll see EM as EM 10% (10% ethyl maltol in pg) or menthol 10%.

I think tfa made a weaker sour before, so it's called sour 20% to indicate it's the stronger flavor version. >Cheers! What does the 20% signify?

I can tell you from experience that some of those flavors will knock you on your ass at those percentages! Some people like their flavor strong so YMMV.

My sense of taste/smell has recovered so I perfer a milder vape.

Black Cherry (I gave up on it) Cheesecake (OMG no!) Coconut & Coffee (just a drop overpowers a 5ml recipe) Honey (very strong) Peppermint (I use at 4% & it's strooong) Toffee (not listed - I dilute @ 15% to use in recipes)

My neighbor & daughter get most of the fruit flavors I've made (or purchased). They love them, but the majority of fruit flavors gag me.

I prefer sweet & savory.

Edit: I make my recipes @ 50/50 vg/pg, 14-18 mg nic

2 points

by InertiaCreepingalmost 12 years agoJust another Moderator

I totally agree. My first order of TPA was all fruit... and now all I can think about is how good it's going to be when I start perfecting dessert and savory!! Mmm mm!

1 points

by IconoclastMunkyalmost 12 years ago

I found some recipes on the eJuiceMeUp calculator & tweaked them. Two of my ADV's are Peanut Butter Cup & Orange Dreamsicle. OMG!

I also make a few single flavors to top off tanks & mix things up (Lemon, Marshmallow, Wild Blueberry, Caramel, etc.).

In a recipe, a bit of Lemon will help pop flavor & Marshmallow can moisten.

;-)

Andes mints. Found on ECF and never could find it again. Better than the off the shelf versions I've tried. As listed, there's just enough koolada to give a tingle of cold. Up to 2% for cold and 5% for ice

Double Chocolate (clear) (TPA/TFA) 7%
Milk Chocolate (TPA/TFA) 7%
Creme De Menthe (TPA/TFA) 6%
Koolada (TPA/TFA) 1%
Ethyl Maltol (GEN) 1%

I'm interweb famous now, right? This was my creation:

12% Juicy Peach

2% Green Apple

2% Pineapple

2% Menthol

Juicy Peach is hella good. I actually made a recipe with Brandy, Black Honey Tobacco, and Juicy Peach. Came out tasting like a peach schnapps. It is a very versatile flavor.

This post may have made you internet famous, but I am famous famous in my vaping circle now that they have been introduced to this mix- fantastic!!!

(Although I managed to spill the bottle while I was adding flavoring... fuck. Ran out of peach so chucked in 5% raspberry sweet- even better! From now on I put my glass bottles inside a mug when filling to stop topples!)

2 points

by Gnatal33almost 12 years agoMixologist

This may be clarified somewhere else, but I couldn't find it...

6% of a particular flavor (for example) refers to 6% of the total mix, right? So 6% for a 30ml means add 1.8 ml, yes?

Thanks for clarifying!

Hey! Did you try my Dreamsicle & Peanut Butter Cup recipes?

Also, I hope you're kidding on the percentages in that first mix. 50% Coffee? That would melt your face off! ;-)

1 points

by InertiaCreepingalmost 12 years agoJust another Moderator

Haha I'm assuming that it isn't a mix of 100% flavouring :P I'll go back to where I found it and try to suss it out

PBC: Very very good. I am torn though, it's not something I could vape all the time, It just doesn't hit the right buttons for me. Everyone I have shown loves it, but it just seems that a simple strawberry vape or a orange cream vape is just preferable to alot of people :/

Dreamsicle: I didn't try yours as I didn't have plain orange, but I DID do a mix of:

On The Rocks
9% Orange Cream (TPA)
7% Mango (TPA)
2% Pineapple (TPA)
2% Strawberry (TPA)
3% Menthol or Koolada

And it was excellent

Pro tip: if you go to the ecf thread listed above there is a guy named paddymx who has aggregated and alphabetized all the recipes people have posted in that thread. He has combined them into a publicly available pdf document. On top of that he continuously integrates new recipes that people post. Honestly, he is doing god's work and you people would be smart to check it out.

1 points

by InertiaCreepingalmost 12 years agoJust another Moderator

Yeah, I love that guy. It's a great pdf... but it's so goddamned hard to read!!! what, 83 pages for 83 recipes?? Most of them are here anyway, but I check that book everyone once in a while

3 points

by modawgalmost 12 years ago

You know what would be really cool? If someone plugged all those recipes into a database. Then, you put all the TPA flavors you have into a field. You press enter and a script outputs recipes you can make or recipes you can almost make.

Does TPA not sell double coconut anymore?

1 points

by kirktalmost 12 years agoBring on the Diacetyl, baby

I made this last night (using your assumption) and it's really good. I might cut the coconut in half next time as it's a tad overpowering the other flavors.

1 points

by zengargoylealmost 12 years ago

I figured is was just a flavor combination profile... That is you mix 6 parts Strawberry, 2 parts Watermelon and 2 parts Double Coconut to make a flavoring mix that you can then add to whatever base at whatever percentage. Add at 10% and its the same as (6% Strawberry, 2% Watermelon, 2% Double Coconut), if that's too weak for you just add it at 20% for (12% Strawberry, 4% Watermelon, 4% Double Coconut).

Cool thing is, no matter how much or how little you add, the ratios of the flavors stays the same.

I sorta wish all recipes were done like this. Flavorings total to 100% and then a (mix flavorings ~10-15% to taste). Because in the end I think it's the ratios of the flavors to each other that are more important than the % of total volume of each flavor.

Just a heads up, I just got a bottle of Honey from TFA and it smelled bad. It really does not smell good at all. I tried the Honey Cream recipe, would advise against it. However! Substitute the rest into any fruit recipe and I imagine it would work well. I mixed it into some apple pie / cinnamon danish from Capella so I don't think that recipe would go well here, but it is very tasty :)

I will report back once the honey cream has had a chance to steep, I think.

Try Captain black/Black honey tobacco at 8%, ripe banana at 4% and coconut candy/double coconut at 4%. Tastes just like Captain Ron or whatever from indigo vapor.

Banana moon pie - 15% chocolate 6% banana cream.

Jungle Samba - 10% strawberry 10% watermelon 5% honeydew 8% mango 5% coconut extra

Blueberry mango mint - 8% mango 15% blueberry 2 drops Koolada for every 5ml
