I see lots of raving about certain US vendors of juices like boba's bounty, unicorn blood, honey pearry etc etc.
At the end of the day, these ejuice makers are probably just using commonly available flavourings and no "secret ingredients" like in coca cola.
What about a good thread on trying to get a close match to these flavours?
I'll start:
Grants Vanilla Custard: 20% Capella VC with 5 drops of EM per 10 ml
heres a bunch from ecf:
Str8 Snickerdoodle Cookie
TFA Cinnamon Danish 8% TFA Cinnamon Sugar Cookie 6% FA Vanilla Tahity 2% TFA Sweet Cream 2% TFA Toasted Almond 1%
Legend 10 mls @ 10mg Nic 50/50
1 ml 10% 80/20 100 mg Nic 3.48 mls 34.8% PG 4.08 mls 40.6% VG 0.35 ml 3.5% 7 Leaves ( FA ) 0.25 ml 2.5% French Pipe ( EcX S ) 0.40 ml 4% Graham Cracker ( TFA ) 0.2 ml 2% EM 0.04 ml 1% TA 0.20 ml 2% ACV
Dragons' Tear
7 Leaves TB 5% Dragon Fruit 5% Blueberry 2.5% Bavarian Cream: 2.5% Sweet Raspberry: 5%
Pluid 12 mls 50/50 12mg.
1.44 mls 12% Nic Juice 80/20 100mg 10% 1.61 mls 13.42% PG 5.71 mls 47.58% VG 2.268 mls 18.9% Absinthe ( TFA ) 0.648 mls 5.4% Horehound ( EcX SS ) 0.192 mls 1.6% Smooth ( EcX SS ) not TFA 0.129 mls 1.08% Orange ( FW )
Steep 5-7 Days Add Green food color for authenticity.
Boba's Clone 25/75 PG/VG 10 mls 12mg.
Nic Juice 1.2 mls 12% PG 0.25 mls 2.5% VG 6.55 mls 65.5% Black Cigar ( H ) 0.4 ml 4% Tuscan Reserve ( EcX ) 0.4 mls 4% Almond Amaretto ( TFA ) 0.4 mls 4% Graham Cracker ( TFA ) 0.4 mls 4% Coconut ( TFA ) 0.1 mls 1% Cinnamon ( FA ) 0.1 mls 1% TA ( PG ) 0.1 mls 1% ACV 2 Drps.
Ideally this should be 95/5 VG/PG with some water or alcohol added.
This is my version, there are others. For those that taste hints of cherry and other flavors I find mixing Almond Amaretto suffices for several of those tastes. When mixed fresh you'll have the Coconut overwhelming. This needs to steep a good long time, a month is good. If you find the need to add a flavor for your own taste, substitute it with the Tuscan Reserve.
Spinning Backfist
5% TFA Juicy Peach 5% FA Pineapple 5% FA Papaya 3% FA Fresh Cream
TFA= The Flavor Apprentice FA= Flavour Arts
Stir + Mix (shake) well....Let this one steep at least 3 days, capped.

Good N Plenty Recipe, 5.5/5.5/5.5
I typically make/vape 60/40 or 50/50 blends. These percentages should work for either:
5.5% TFA horehound 5.5% TFA absinthe 5.5% FW (flavor west) ECTO COOLER
Very similar to a Good N Plenty candy. No em or EZ Sweetz is needed...
It may crack plastic, not sure. Been vaping it in a Kanger Pro Tank.
(made this batch 60/40, 16 mg, its pretty dang good)
================================================== ==============================
Percentages below were used in the creation of an eliquid in a 60/40 mix. If you use MORE VG then 40% you may need to slightly increase the flavoring %.
12% Capella "Root Beer" 2% Vaping Zone "Vanilla Ice Cream" 0.4% Capella "Vanilla Custard"
This stuff is tasty 24 hours after making it. I imagine it will only get a bit better. Hope you enjoy it as much as I do.

ECTOSPASM (ectoplasma clone)
6% TFA Hawaiian Punch 6% Flavor West "Ecto Cooler" 1% TFA "Smooth"
Enjoy this clone, I sold this recipe not long ago. Never said I wouldn't post it. Here it is.
================================================== ================================== French NogELLA
Capella 9% Egg Nog Capella 5% French Toast Capella 1% Hot Cinnamon Candy
Too many abbreviations.. Is the TA in the Legend clone tobacco absolute, toasted almond?
>probably just using commonly available flavourings
Businesses (sometimes tax numbers are required) can contact the larger flavoring houses to get their hands on stuff we can't as end consumers. http://parkerflavors.com/ and http://www.goldcoastinc.com/ are examples of B2B-only flavoring companies. I know one juice vendor went through ~20 "cherry" flavors before he found a decent one.
The juice vendors that have 100 flavors that look just like ever other vendor with 100 flavors...those guys are just using the same damn flavorings everybody else is.
I'm thinking there might be some of this going on with /u/TheVaporChef. I've included TVC'esque flavorants from every vendor that I've ever ordered from and haven't found any perfect TVC note in any of them. I also haven't found any TVC clone recipes despite his popularity. His bases (nic/pg/vg) are all from Wizard Labs, so unless he's using ICE, which I highly doubt given his volume, he's likely using off the grid flavors or some enhancer wizardry. Also given his volume and turnaround, I'm doubtful he is using botique or private extracts. He also says he doesn't use any sweeteners, so maybe something in the Magic Mask or Vape Wizard realm.
The closest flavorants I've come across are mostly from Nature's Flavors. His 'about' statement kind of quashes that though as most of their extracts contain gums. Truth be told though, TVC does gunk my RDAs like there is some gum arabic in play, so who knows. NF's additives aren't widely known though, so maybe that vendor is in the mix and he just isn't aware.
Any thoughts, rumors, or experience?
Also, I hope he views clone chasing as flattery. TVC is the only juice vendor I still order from and will continue to do so. I particularly love that several of his best pair well with different alcohols without muting the flavors of either (eg Apple Bourbon Tobacco with Scotch/Martinis and Peach Tea with dark rum). It is difficult to produce velvet vapor and not mute undertones. I'd just love to figure out some of the magic to make our own juices, our own recipes, that much better.
Hey, I know this is a really old post of yours, but word on the street is that a good bit of the flavorings that TVC uses are extracted by the man himself. I don't know exactly how many of the flavorings or which juices though.
Another thing, you can glean from some of his posts that the product descriptions on his site don't tell the whole story. Honey Pearry is one that I specifically remember, IE: It's not just honeydew, pear, and strawberry.
There's a thread on ecf for clones you could pull for here, also a supposedly good bobas and gorilla juice clone there.
good call - found the thread (I think) http://www.e-cigarette-forum.com/forum/e-liquid-recipes/421670-clone-recipes.html
I'll start collating
Yup, that's the one. The bobas clone has it's own thread, in the diy forum, not the recipes forum, that's were gj is too, look for slohands post in there. Also an ectoplasma recipe on ecf that's really tasty. If I remember right it's the actual recipe.
