I didn't realize poison is an ingredient in juice...
Nicotine is poisonous.
So you might have heard about a few juice shipments from China being seized by the FDA. A few times, they've used the excuse of (possibly) illegal pesticides.
I hate big government myself, and I am not looking forward to regulation, but I actually didn't mind too bad when I heard that. If I was an FDA agent trying to figure out how to make sure this Chinese nicotine isn't full of rat feet and stuff-- how would I do that? Well, I'd probably just grab one shipment out of thousands, and test it, and release it back to the vendor. And how would I justify grabbing one to test? Well, one of the last times raw nicotine imports were being grabbed and tested this way, was when nicotine was being used as a pesticide. So, some poor guy trying to figure out how bad or safe the market really ~is~, decides to seize a shipment as illegal pesticides, test it a little bit, then release it to the purchaser. Yes it sucked but he or she was just doing his or her job.
I got my last shipment in bottles which were very well wrapped and shipped. But I have seen pictures of nicotine shipments that busted and had oily liquid soaked all into the package box and wrapping. I told my wife while I was waiting for my big shipment-- if the box is oily or wet looking, or stained dark, DON'T PICK IT UP. Don't touch it, wrap it with plastic and move it out of the public area. She's epileptic and the last thing I need is her getting a nic rush and having a seizure. It's just the reality of concentrated nicotine. Children are much more susceptible to poisoning through the skin than adults, by the way.
