The site says to keep it in a cold dark place, my fridge is pretty cold and dark haha. Just wondering if that would increase the life on it.
I've had 500 ml sitting in a box for a year. I use it regularly. It's gotten a little yellow but still works fine.
I keep mine in the freezer. The brown color everyone talks about is just natural oxidation from the nicotine being exposed to oxygen. In the freezer the VG (I have not tried PG) does not freeze but does slow the fluid down quite a bit so there are less oxygen molecules moving around in the solution thus less oxidation. The reason that I keep it in the freezer is that IMO oxidation can eventually cause the flavor to change. It's slight but I can taste it. I pull it out and draw off 30ml at a time to keep at room temp and mix with.
I keep mine in a fridge. I don't think it matters much unless you really need to store it for a long time, but I figure the fridge is right next to where I usually mix so why not.
yep, and I have 500 ml of 100 mg/ml solution... I vape at 5-10 mg, think I went a bit overboard there :3
lol that is going to last you a longgggg time!! air is not nicotine friendly.. given how often you are going to open that 500ml bottle in the future, you should consider dividing it up into glass amber bottles for sure :)
Actually I already have :) right before I posted I put 30 ml into an amber bottle then I was sitting there like... shit where the hell do I keep all of this. Plus at 5-10 mg my 30ml bottle lasts me... well at least 30 to 50 mixes. Still thanks for the suggestion :)

given i kept a vg tobacco in fridge for two years and it still tasted fresh, i would say yes it increases the shelf-life a bit.. the one i had in tubberware in cabinet for almost the same time was not as fresh!! i premix my nic base, transfer almost all of it to amber bottles, stick them in freezer ziplock bags and stick them in fridge scrisper drawer.. i just pull out a bottle a couple days before i am going to need more nic base.. even if it is all in my mind that it increases shelf life, it doesn't hurt to put them in fridge in the end... i have no clue about mostly pg bases though...
